Everton are expected to announce the signing of Henry Onyekuru soon, with the striker having already posed in front of a club badge.
The Toffees have beaten Arsenal to the signing of Onyekuru, who was also wanted by West Ham.
The 20-year-old will join for £6.8million from Eupen, but will be loaned to fellow Belgian club Anderlecht in order to help his development.
Only two players under the age of 23 scored more league goals than Onyekuru last season, with the forward having previously declared his love for Arsenal.
“I believe I have the level to one day play in the Champions League,” he said in December. “The Premier League is my dream league, although I would rather go to Arsenal.
“I’m a huge Arsenal fan, Thierry Henry is my idol. I try to copy him as much as possible.”
Despite this, and claims that the Gunners had met his release clause earlier this month, Onyekuru is Merseyside-bound.
The forward posted a picture of himself posing in front of the Everton club crest on Tuesday.
